Hand-Painted Sheep with Lustrous Silver Leaf & Wisteria Purple Glaze | 2027 Zodiac

This elegant Kyo-yaki matcha bowl by Japanese ceramic artist Kyoka Arai features a beautifully hand-painted sheep motif, enhanced with highly lustrous silver leaf applied to the surface.

The soft wisteria-purple glaze creates a graceful contrast with the brilliant, reflective silver, giving the bowl a refined and luxurious appearance.

The sheep (Hitsuji) is the Japanese zodiac animal for 2027, symbolizing peace, harmony, and gentleness.

A beautiful choice for New Year and Hatsugama tea gatherings, as well as a special addition to any Japanese tea ceremony collection.
