Kyo, Kiyomizu-yaki | Golden Sunrise with Cranes
A matcha bowl featuring auspicious motifs, perfect for New Year celebrations or weddings.
Amid luxurious gold decoration, the design retains a sense of freshness, depicting two cranes gracefully flying against the majestic backdrop of Mt. Fuji.
Inside the bowl, a brilliant rising sun is painted, while cranes and Mt. Fuji emerge through layers of golden mist, creating depth like a traditional Japanese painting.
Combining two of Japan’s most auspicious symbols—Mt. Fuji and cranes—this bowl embodies good fortune and celebration.
The fine white clay in the style of Ninsei, combined with delicate hand-painted details, reflects both tradition and refinement.
