Nambu Ironware teapots are appreciated for their excellent heat retention and durability. Compared with ceramic or glass teapots, cast iron is less prone to breaking, while the distinctive texture of the cast surface gives each piece a warm and substantial character.

The interior is finished with enamel to help prevent rust, making this teapot practical for everyday tea service.

Please note that this is a teapot for brewing and serving tea, not a tetsubin for boiling water. Add separately boiled hot water and your favorite tea leaves to enjoy Japanese green tea, hojicha, genmaicha, or other teas.
