Perusya Kamon | 波斯華文

This textile is a type of nishiki (brocade), featuring gold-woven paisley motifs set against deep burgundy or green backgrounds.

In Japan, the paisley pattern is often referred to as the magatama motif because of its resemblance to the curved shape of the ancient comma-shaped beads known as magatama. The origins of the paisley design can be traced to textile patterns from the Kashmir region of India, where the motif first developed and later spread throughout the world.
