Kobori Kando Utsushi Shoha refers to a traditional textile design reproduced from the classical Kobori Kando pattern.

“Kando” is a striped textile style long appreciated in Japanese tea culture for its quiet rhythm and refined simplicity. The term utsushi indicates that this piece is a respectful reproduction of an established, historical design, preserving its original aesthetic spirit.

Made from Shoha silk—known for its smooth texture and elegant finish—this textile embodies the understated sophistication associated with classical tea aesthetics. It is especially suited for formal tea settings, where subtle design and material quality are deeply valued.
