Ajiroji Oufu Donsu is a traditional silk textile featuring an elegant combination of woven patterns and seasonal motifs.
The ajiroji (woven lattice) ground creates a subtle, structured texture, while the design incorporates sakura (cherry blossoms) and kaede (maple leaves)—symbols of spring and autumn in Japanese aesthetics. Together, these motifs express the beauty of seasonal transition and the harmony of nature.
Made from donsu silk, known for its rich texture and refined sheen, this textile offers both visual depth and a sense of formality. It is well suited for tea ceremony use, where seasonal awareness and understated elegance are essential.
