Japanese Tea Ceremony Suspended Kettle Set (Urasenke) – 3-Piece Set

At the end of the hearth season, the usual kettle used in the floor hearth is replaced with a suspended kettle, hung from the ceiling. This set includes all the essential components needed for using a suspended kettle.

  • Suspension hook (Tsuru)

  • Ring (Kan)

  • Kettle chain

  • Paulownia wood storage box

 

Materials: Urasenke: Suspension hook, large ring, and kettle chain are made of iron.

This set is crafted by Kikuchi Masamitsu, a member of the Japan Kogei Association and a certified Japanese Kogei artisan. It provides authentic, traditional tools for changing the tea ceremony setup from a floor hearth to a suspended kettle.
