Kyo | Shimaenaga Matcha Bowl

Regular price $165.00

A slightly smaller matcha bowl that fits comfortably in the hands.
The clay, mixed with fine sand, gives it a rustic texture, while the combination of different glazes, the restrained brushwork, and the generous use of open space create a tasteful and poetic expression.

The motif, Shima-enaga, is a tiny, fluffy white bird native to Hokkaido, affectionately known as the “snow fairy.”

Dimensions: approx. 11.6 cm (4.6 in) diameter × 8.8 cm (3.5 in) height

As each piece is handmade, variations in color, shape, and size may occur.
