About Kanbayashi Shunsho Honten
This matcha is crafted by Kanbayashi Shunsho Honten, one of the three great tea houses of Uji (Uji Sandai Chasho) and the oldest among them, with a legacy spanning more than 450 years. Deeply rooted in Uji’s tea-making tradition, Kanbayashi’s matcha has long been cherished in the practice of chanoyu (the Japanese tea ceremony) for its refined taste and artistry.
