Mr. Tanimura, the 20th-generation successor of a 500-year lineage in Takayama, Nara, will visit the Bay Area for a series of special programs including:

・Lecture on the history and philosophy of chasen
・Live chasen-making demonstration
・Hands-on workshops (limited seats)
・Welcome dinner & cultural exchange gathering

This is a unique opportunity to meet a bonafide master artisan who continues to preserve and evolve one of Japan’s most important tea traditions.
