Momoe Gyokuro Karigane is a premium Japanese stem tea crafted by Marukyu Koyamaen in Uji, Kyoto.

Stem tea is commonly known as Kukicha throughout Japan, but in Kyoto it is traditionally called Karigane. This tea is made from the tender stems and leaf veins of high-grade Gyokuro, giving it a naturally sweet aroma, rich umami, and a smooth, refreshing finish.

Because it uses stems from premium Gyokuro, Momoe offers a mellow sweetness with less astringency than many leaf teas. It is a wonderful choice for both everyday enjoyment and special tea moments.
