Akazu-yaki is a traditional craft produced in the Akazu area near Seto City, Aichi Prefecture, with a history spanning 1300 years. Originally created as tea ceremony ware, it is distinguished by its diverse glazes and decorative techniques and is recognized as one of Japan's Six Ancient Kilns. Its high artistic quality and practicality have made it popular both domestically and internationally as tea utensils, ikebana ware, and household items.
