Hibotan Karakusa Ho-o-mon Nishiki| 緋牡丹唐草鳳凰文錦

This is an original design by Kitamura Tokusai, featuring striking red peonies, a phoenix with rainbow-colored wings, and clouds and arabesques with subtle gradations that stand out against a white background. The composition combines the central red peony, the vivid phoenix, and softly shaded arabesques, creating a pictorial sense of depth—one of the highlights of this brocade.
