Tango Tanimura is a highly respected chasen maker who supplies chasen directly to the Iemoto (Grand Master) of the Mushakōjisenke school.

This Tenmoku chasen is specially crafted for Tenmoku temae, a formal procedure using a Tenmoku tea bowl. Its distinctive form differs from a standard chasen and reflects the traditional specifications of Mushakōjisenke Chanoyu.
