A type of *meibutsugire* (noted textile), this is one of the renowned Arisugawa brocades handed down in the Maeda family of Kaga. It is woven with octagonal medallions containing horse motifs, surrounded by seven jewel motifs arranged in a floral form, interspersed with cloud patterns.
