Sho-ha Kocyo-ran | 紹巴胡蝶蘭
This textile features the Phalaenopsis orchid (Kochōran), a flower traditionally associated with celebration and elegance. Often regarded as the quintessential symbol of a magnificent bloom, the orchid is depicted in a graceful Art Nouveau-inspired design, creating a rich and decorative impression.
Originally known as a specialty of Taiwan, the name Kochō means “butterfly,” reflecting the flower’s resemblance to a butterfly in flight.
