Hachiryo-bon Tray with Cherry Blossom Raden Inlay Tame-nuri Rim Finish

This refined hachiryo-bon (eight-sided tray) features a graceful cherry blossom motif in raden (mother-of-pearl inlay).

The sakura design is created using the luminous inner surface of shell, which softly changes its expression depending on the angle of the light.
The rim is finished in tame-nuri, a translucent lacquer technique that adds depth and richness, bringing the entire piece together with quiet elegance.

Suitable for bon-demae tea procedures, as well as for use in the tea setting or as a confectionery tray, this piece beautifully balances formality and practicality.
