Chitose-bon Tray with Ginkgo Makie – Made of Hinoki Cypress

The Chitose-bon is a tray designed for the Chitose-bon tea ceremony, originally created by the wife of the 14th Urasenke Grand Master, Daitansai, to celebrate his 60th birthday.
The underside of the lid features makie of ginkgo leaves along with the kanji characters for "Konnichi" (今日).
