This chakin is a highest-quality piece made from premium hemp (seima) sourced in Tochigi Prefecture.
The yarn is hand-spun in eastern Nara and carefully handwoven in Tawara Village, preserving traditional craftsmanship.

To ensure it can be used from either side, both ends are meticulously finished with alternating hand stitching.

Tailored for Urasenke tea practice.
